We are reading a book called Act One.

We think it is about a performance 

So far we have read about Mel's mum who invites this new teacher who she works with at the polytech for lunch and she brings her really smart daughter so Mel acts like a different person to act cool. 

Making a flow chart

This morning Totara 4 were making flow charts. we made these for how to make Milo's/Hot chocolate and Tea. I made a flow chart for how to make a Milo this is the start of it as I haven't finished it yet.

Reciprocal Reading

Walt: Work in a group and share our ideas.

Everyday after morning tea we do reciprocal reading and we get in groups of 4 or 5 and we read a book and then answered questions. In our group is George, Quin, Jake and Dylan and me. Our book is about Emperor Penguins.

footprints

Last week we did learning about footprints with Madalin. We learnt about how everything you do is kept with the government, on the WiFi and in your history. I learnt if you get popups of stuff not appropriate on your Chromebook you need to tell an adult immediately so they can try to get rid of it.

Halloween

This term is Halloween and we are doing a Halloween day on Thursday.

Halloween is about having fun it was originally a tradition. People think that Halloween is when ghosts and spirits were believed to be abroad.

I think that it is was traditionally created from the Mexicans and then it spread around the world and became a fun day for children and adults.

Keeping Ourself Safe (KOS)

This term we are doing Keeping Ourself Safe (KOS) 

Keeping Ourself Safe is about learning body parts and learning not to touch stuff on other peoples body. I think that it is good to learn this stuff every 2 years.

Every week we have to do 2 maths buddy tasks they are a bit like this. 

Our teacher Mrs Gully sets our task weekly  this is one of my tasks
