Mussel Diagram

WALT: Do a scientific diagram of a mussel.

Last week we had to do a mussel diagram. We did this diagram because we are learning to do scientific drawing and diagrams and we are also going to Mistletoe bay for our class camp in two weeks.

We are going to be doing a lot of rock pool work and observing since it is winter and we won't be going swimming as much.

This is the diagram that me and my friend did together.

I learnt that there are more then 1 types of mussel and that they are actually really interesting and living when you buy them at the supermarket.

Ancient Egypt

Today my class did a challenge called guess the topic, we had to be in our table group for our groups. We had 4 tasks that we had to do.
#1 Was build three puzzles
#2 Unscramble the words
#3 Answer the math questions to get letters
#4 Find the topic using the shape of the country and the letter.
We got up to number three then my group ran out of time.  At the end if we didn't complete all the tasks and figure out the topic we got told the topic. The topic was Ancient Egypt.

It was quite hard to do but a really fun challenge.

Day Of The Dead word search.

Can you find the word from this wordsearch. Comment below if you can.

This week one of our reading tasks were to fill in a Day Of The Dead Vocabluary worksheet. We had to search a dictionary and find the meaning of the words. We also had to make a word search with the words some of the words are Festivity, Colonisation, Catholicism, Indigenous, Observances, Deceased. This is what my word search turned out like.
